Along with the many other things to concern yourself with in regards to decision making for your children, feeding is another one of those choices. There are many articles regarding the debate between breastfeeding and bottle-feeding, and even controversy in some parts of the world. It can feel like a pressured decision no matter which one you choose. Some who breastfeed try to shame those who don't, and those who don't shame those who do. As a human being, it should be respect that we crave from one another, not hostility.

There are pros and cons for both sides of the coin. Breastfeeding provides more antibodies to the child, relieves pressure from the mother, there are no additives or preservatives, and there's no cost or prep-time. What some may consider downfalls could be that the mother is the only one capable of providing those meals, and with bottle-feeding, its easier for others to provide the meals without the extra time required to pump a supply.

Many come to these decisions based around convenience with work schedule, care takers, and father involvement. Others come to the decisions based around their own health, the capabilities of their body, and production of milk.
