In today's world - or possibly how its always been - one does not get to decide what they are and are not. Society does. Even then, society is split with qualifications of what it is as if life were a job application. That isn't how things work and I'll tell you why.

My Issue With Green-Lighting A Vet


I have been having issues accepting this "Green Light" for Veterans campaign (its also sponsored by Wal-Mart so that doesn't help sway me towards it) because it seems like just another contribution to America's too well know "Slakivism" to take advantage of the consumer. Of course, I could be wrong, but this is just my thoughts on the matter.

Religion VS State

Your "religious freedom" has no freedom in the workplace unless you are a private owned organization. The right to "religious freedom" is literally what it says, the right to PRACTICE what religion you wish. NOT to discriminate nor force that religion on others. Religion is one of those "hot button" topics, so this could possibly be a trigger warning for hot heads that are going to be dead set in their ways.
